A Billion PPE is a humanitarian campaign whose mission is to provide emergency Personal Protective Equipment for frontline hospital workers, first responders, and marginalized communities affected by COVID-19

The first $50,000 donated in this campaign will go towards frontline doctors & nurses in NYC’s hardest hit hospitals serving marginalized communities like East Harlem, South Bronx, and Elmhurst. All donations by Googlers will receive 1:1 matching

STAGE 1: MASKS TO THE FRONTLINES

1 Billion PPE’s mission is to provide relief for America’s current Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) crisis. We achieve this by acquiring PPE supply directly from China’s most reputable, FDA-certified factories, import the equipment into the US, and distribute it via our volunteer network directly into the hands of frontline hospital workers in New York City and other severely impacted regions around the country.

The first step of the campaign was the launch of A Million Masks, which has donated 15,000+ respirators to 25+ NYC Hospitals in the past two weeks, with tens of thousands more respirators en route every week.

STAGE 2: MULTI-CITY EXPANSION + PPE

The next step will include the launch similar efforts around the country, with a particular focus on the cities that are being hit disproportionately hard. Our data currently shows that Southern cities like Atlanta & New Orleans have urgent need for more PPE.
